Poet at Work

This instant poetry project is perfect for festivals and family fun days.  I set up a stall and people come over to request poems they would like written.  I write a poem on any subject within 30 mins and perform the poem and give them a written copy when they return.

I first performed Poet at work in Ulverston town centre with the help of FRED an art invasion in South Cumbria www.fredblog.co.uk

I also performed at Heron Corn Mill Harvest Festival in Beetham where I was the compere and read the poetry in between acts at the evening event.   More recently I set up for the day next to the donkeys at a Pirate Family Day at The Owl Centre in Barrow-in-Furness.
