Ann is a highly experienced workshop facilitator. Her work spans literature, comedy, theatre and cross arts. She works in primary and secondary schools and worked for six years in FE as a performing arts tutor. In 2009 she was a script development director for The Ashton Group with Sarah Miller.  Ann also works with Whitewood and Fleming as both a writer and project co-ordinator for their Looked After Children’s projects. Ann has worked for various organisations across the NW leading workshops in creative writing, performance skills, music collaborations workshops, songwriting and comedy.

WORKSHOPS

Spoken Word Open Mic Workshop: Saturday 29 October and Saturday 26 November,   These are informal writing workshops with short exercises and a chance to share work and get feedback. 5-6.30pm, Tickets £5

 

 

Please note the workshops above are designed to accompany the Spoken Word Open Mic nights which begin at 7.30 in The Warehouse on the same evenings. The Spoken Word Open Mic nights feature  open mic performers and guest acts from the local, regional and national scene.

Ann is a qualified higher education tutor in Performing Arts (PGCE) and an Arts Awards Advisor.  She works in every kind of setting from theatres and colleges to pubs and youth hostels. Ann holds a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Media Drama from the University of Glamorgan and Welsh College of Music and Drama.  She has recently led the following workshops:
